Channel Letters

Your name on the building, lit for the night shift.

Get a Quote

Individually fabricated illuminated letters, the standard for a storefront that needs to read after dark.

Channel letters are built letter by letter rather than printed on a panel, which is why they hold up outdoors and why they look like a permanent business rather than a temporary one. Each letter is a formed aluminum channel with an acrylic face and LED modules inside, so the light is even and the construction is weather-tight.

We design, fabricate and install them ourselves, and we pull the City of Houston permit as part of the job instead of handing that back to you. Mounted flush to the facade or on a raceway, we match your typeface and brand colors rather than approximating them.

Options

Channel Letters, your way.

Photos illustrate sign styles and materials. Every finished sign is made for its site.

  • Front-lit

    Front-lit

Translucent acrylic faces that push light forward. The standard choice for maximum brightness and long-range readability.

  • Halo-lit (reverse)

    Halo-lit (reverse)

Solid metal faces with the LEDs behind them, projecting a soft glow onto the wall. Understated, and a good fit for offices and higher-end retail.

  • Front and back lit

    Front and back lit

Illuminated faces plus a halo on the wall behind. The highest-impact option for a storefront.

  • Open face

Exposed LED tubing inside the metal channel for a retro, neon-style look without neon's upkeep.

Common questions

About channel letters.

Are channel letters energy efficient?
Yes. Low-voltage LED modules use a fraction of the power of older neon or fluorescent systems, and they last far longer between service calls.
What is a raceway mount?
A raceway is a slim metal box that holds the wiring. The letters mount to it, and it mounts to the wall, which means far fewer holes in your building and a simpler install on many facades.
Do halo-lit letters work on a dark wall?
Halo lighting needs a lighter surface behind it to reflect off. On dark brick or heavily textured walls we add a lighter backer panel behind the letters so the glow reads clearly.
Can you match our brand font and colors?
Yes. The letters are formed to your typeface, and the faces are finished in vinyl or paint to match your brand colors.
